Flood
December is usually the wettest month of the year. Last year the rain came quite late but heavy. Water from upstream was fast and carries lot of debris.....especially leaves. Many low lying localities were flooded and it occurs fast. Since it occurs during the night and early morning, many folks were still sleeping. Luckily no loss of lives were recorded. Properties including houses were in total mess and some were completely destroyed.

Note the leaves that are stuck in the fence. That's the level of the flood water and the force of the water causes the leaves to stick into the fence.
